Mumbai Saga full movie story

Amartya Rao (John Abraham) comes from a middle-class family and his father sells vegetables on a railroad bridge. All the sellers there are forced to pay money to protect the gangster Gaitonde (Amole Gupte). One day, some fearsome Gaitonde supporters attack Amartya’s teenage brother, Arjun.

Enraged, Amartia breaks up the whole gang. He was arrested by the police and the target of further violence by Gaitonde supporters. He can fight them all and earn the respect of the villain Nari Khan (Gulshan Grover), who warns Gaitonde against further action.

Amartya immediately receives bail, with the permission of Bhau (Mahesh Manjrekar), the leader of the local Chatrapati Sena party, which is known for its acts of violence and spying for muscular men like Amartya. Bhau tells him that now that Gaitonde has turned his nemesis into an enemy, he must find a solution within a week, and if he does, Bhau can provide political and legal protection in return.

Amartya meets with Nari’s top adviser and receives information about the Gaitonde operation. Then he attacked his men and was able to confiscate his entire arsenal. He then issues bail to Nari and threatens Gaitonde to get rid of him as well. Gaitonde realized his waning power and resented his fate. With Bhaus’ blessing, Amartya took control of the city without a hitch.

Amartya sends Arjun to boarding school to keep him away from violence. Years later he marries his childhood friend Siema (Kajal Aggarwal), who now arranges the marriage of aging Arjun (Prateik Babbar) to his beloved Nilam and sends the bride back to London to keep him out of a life of crime.

Meanwhile Gaitonde has reached an agreement with Sunil Haytan, the factory owner, as he plans to expel workers from the factory to use the factory land for a major reality project to take advantage of the newly liberalized economy.

Amartya, suspicious of Gaitonde’s quick attempts to revive himself, kills Haytan after refusing to heed his warnings. Arjun returns to India and is attacked by Gaitonde’s men in retaliation for the murder of Haitan; On the other hand, Haytan Sonali’s wife announced a bounty of 10 crowns for every policeman who kills Amartya.

Inspector Vijay Savarkar (Emraan Hashmi) investigates Amartya’s case and finds Sadashiv, the weakling of Amartya’s gang. Sadashiv betrays his comrades and Vijay is able to kill 4 of them. Arjun rightly suspects Sadashiv of being a rat; To check this, Amartya asks Sadashiv to meet him in the park.

There he came disguised as a taxi driver and saw police officers preparing for an ambush. Vijay happens to hire a taxi for his office and they say hello when Vijay leaves the taxi. Arjun then kills Sadashiv, who is under police protection, bribes the police and shoots one of them in the arm to set up an ambush.

Bhau advises Amartya to leave the country as Haytan’s death, combined with the police robbery, puts the police under heavy pressure to find him and it is no longer safe to live in the city. Amartya travels to London and Arjun now leads the gang. Vijay issues a court order for Arjun, warning him of his absence by stating that by default he gets a “shooting order” from the court and can even kill him in public.

Arjun was shot dead by Gaitonde’s husband when he appeared in court; Although he survived the attack, he was permanently paralyzed below the waist. Amartya returns to India and saves Arjun from the police but is shot dead by Vijay. Amartya then pushes Arjun into the plane but is abandoned.

Then he succumbed to his injuries. Siema then tries to call Amartya, but there is no answer. Then Siema realized that Amartia was dead. It is also revealed that it was Baba who signaled to Vijay that Amartya tried to put Arjun on the plane and that he is now flying to Mumbai with Bhaus’ help.
